The 2012-2013 school year will mark Katherine Norrie's thirteenth year of teaching visual art at Northfield High School. Katherine took a voluntary leave of absence from .2 of her full-time position and will be teaching part-time this year at .8. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with a new group of talented artists at NHS this year.
Katherine graduated from St. Olaf College in 1999 and earned a B.A. in Studio Art and Education. After graduating from St. Olaf, Katherine completed her student teaching in Lakeville at both Lakeville High School and Eastview Elementary School. Katherine wrote her Master's thesis during the summer months of 2005 and graduated from Hamline University in May of 2006 with her Masters in Education.
Katherine, along with her husband and two sons, resides in Northfield.
