Hola, I am Mairin Born. I am happy to be new to Bridgewater this year! This is my 8th year in teaching. I have taught in Mankato, Worthington and St. Cloud Minnesota. I spent the past three years teaching at Clearview Elementary School in St.Cloud in a Spanish Immersion program.
I learned to speak Spanish by studying the language in high school, college and immersion trips to Costa Rica.
I am a new momma! I have a little girl named Gracie. My husband Dan and I live in Northfield with baby Gracie and our pup Finnigan. We love to spend time together outside, especially in the fall. We spend a lot of times with our big families around the state of Minnesota.
I am excited to be in second grade this year!
