2011-2012 Season

Welcome to our fifth season of Science Olympiad. A team-based academic sport focused on problem solving in science and technology. If you'd like to find out more about the specific activities, go to the national Science Olympiad web site and read about class C (grades 9-12) events - http://www.soinc.org/. For regional and state level information, check out the Minnesota state site - www.minnesotaso.org/.

Up to 15 students, no more than 7 seniors, from one team can compete at a tournament. This year there are two Northfield class C teams.

In addition to our coach, Susan Singer, our team is assisted by Raghav Chandra, Jonathan Hillis, Frazier Mork, Kristine Nachbor, and Laura Wadleigh who are Carleton students. We're grateful to Carleton College for providing funding for transportation to our events.
