Click on the month and find out what is coming up! We try to get out of the classroom as much as possible. We visit G.L.O.N.A. on a daily basis, we try to visit different places in Northfield (St. Olaf Nature Area, Goodsell Observatory, St. Olaf Science Building, downtown Northfield - to name a few), and we plan excursions to different places that correspond to curriculum. THIS is where you will find information about upcoming field trips and classroom activities. In the newsletter there is also information on the upcoming units of study. Read this section and let me know if you have any questions or if you think that you could bring someone in/come in yourself and add to our discussions! In the past we have had an Olympic speed skater (thanks Mrs. Weber!), stringed instrument bow maker (thanks Mr. Weiling!), and a bean bag maker (thanks Mom!). It is a great way for students to see real world examples of what we are talking about. PLEASE, talk to me about what you can bring to class, we love visitors! |
This is where you will find the weekly newsletters. PLEASE tell me if you read this, I can save the paper and not send home a hard copy! Thanks! |
