Wednesday, September 5th:  Textbook checkout; Cover textbooks-students can choose to decorate their cover with a Geographic theme as part of a book covering contest; All about me form due Thursday 

Thursday, September 6th:  Place location pre-test; Collect All about me form;

Friday, September 7th:  Return pre-tests; Place location introduction; Mystery Photo; Book cover judging

Monday, September 10th:  Clock partner activity; Demonstrate useful tools on Mr. Sawyer's website; 5 Themes of Geography reading pages 5-9 in the textbook and complete 5 Themes Organizer for Tuesday

Tuesday, September 11th:  Go over 5 themes organizer; Maps 101 lesson

Wednesday, September 12th:  Review yesterday's information;  Marshall State Park map reading activity

Thursday, September 13th:  Map scale lesson and activity; Begin U.S. mapping today

Friday, September 14th:  Short Quiz on 5 Themes of Geography, Maps 101 info, and map reading; Mystery Photo; Continue work on U.S. mapping activity
