Welcome to fourth grade!  I am excited and looking forward to being your fourth grade teacher.  We are going to have a fantastic year together at Sibley Elementary.  I want to take this time to tell you a little bit about myself.  This is going to be my 11th year in the Northfield Public Schools and my fourth year here at Sibley.  Before coming to Sibley I taught fourth grade at Greenvale Park. 

I was born and raised in Rochester, MN on 80 acres of land.  I earned my undergraduate degree from Winona State University in Winona, MN.  I started teaching in Rochester right after graduating and spent that year working on my Masters Degree in Education.  My family and I just moved to Northfield this summer after living in Lakeville, MN for the past 11 years.  We are so excited to be living here and we are getting all settled in our new house.  My husband Steve and I have three children: Jacob is 4 years old and I have two 2 year old twins, Adeline and Nolan.  They keep me very busy!  We also have a Chocolate Lab named Rasho.  During my free time I enjoy scrapbooking, listening to music, traveling, golfing, gardening, spending time with my kids at the MN Zoo and visiting various parks in the area. 

I am honored to be part of your child's education this school year.
