The 2005 Honors Art artists spent a semester creating works of art that would ultimately be displayed at the ArtOrg gallery in downtown Northfield in their end of the year show. The show at ArtOrg opened on Tuesday, May 17th 2005 and continues through Thursday, June 2nd 2005. The Honors Art students gathered together to host their opening reception on Friday, May 20th from 7-9 and were pleased with the overwhelming turnout of family, friends and people from the community. The show at ArtOrg marked the first time in the 6-year history of Honors Art that the students had ever had the opportunity to present a show together as a group. In the past, the students had displayed their artwork individually throughout the community in store front windows. The gallery show provided the students with a wonderful opportunity to work together and have the experience of putting together a formal gallery space.
